Nia, simply put, gets me liking exercise. It’s perfect because the music is fun, even inspiring at times, and not too frenetic. The structure allows self expression and practice at balance etc, good for my aging body. Laura's natural and upbeat energy makes it all feel welcoming and easy to keep coming back.

Laura is a fantastic Nia instructor! Her warm and welcoming energy is always present whenever I've attended her classes. She chooses great routines and music to dance to, and she gives clear instruction/is easy to follow along with. I am still somewhat new to Nia and when I went to my first couple classes with

I am a long-time Nia student and a great fan of Laura’s! I have been taking classes from her for the past five years and reliably attend her class twice a week, as it gives me all I could want from a Nia class. Laura’s classes are an anchor in my week, one which I

I have been taking Laura's Nia classes, both online and in person, for about seven years. She is an enthusiastic and gifted teacher and dancer. Laura emphasizes moving in a balanced and comfortable way, with equal amounts of form and freedom. Her choice of music and the way she interprets the music through motion is

I discovered Nia more than 20 years ago and since then, I've been taking Nia classes around the Bay Area and in other states and countries when I'm traveling. Laura is a wonderful NIA teacher. She is upbeat, kind, thoughtful, inclusive, creative, energetic and fun to be with. She fosters a welcoming environment where dancers of all stripes can explore, get a great work out and have a good time. Laura is also a natural, comfortable teacher and leader. Though I haven't experienced her

I have been coming to Laura's classes for approximately 2 years. Laura knows how to connect and inspire as a Nia teacher. I always feel safe in her classes and free to express through movement whatever feels right that day. Laura is a generous soul who offers the structure of Nia, but leaves room for
